It is a great relief to my clients with ADD, ADHD and Executive Functioning concerns to see results. When things seem to be going down the right path, the individual feels better about life. This can also lead to complacency. It is important that the individual with ADD, ADHD and Executive Functioning concerns to continue working at new and effective strategies and techniques. Improving one’s performance is an ongoing process, so feeling comfortable can lead to slipping back into negative habits.

Think of it this way. Diets can help people lose weight. There are many different ones and most work. However, the key component to any diet is following it. Just like improving personal skills, it is a regular and ongoing process. Sticking with it is the key to continued growth.
