Jonathan D. Carroll, M.A.
Jonathan Carroll is an ADD/ADHD Coach and Executive Functioning Coach as well as a Special Education Advocate and Educational Advisor. He has several years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults meet personal, professional and educational goals. As an adult managing his own ADHD, Jonathan Carroll helps clients achieve success through a variety of effective strategies and techniques.
Jonathan Carroll received a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago and a M.A. in Learning Disabilities with additional studies in Social/Emotional Disorders from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His graduate thesis examined ADD/ADHD and the use of medication along with alternative intervention strategies.
Jonathan Carroll founded and manages Carroll Educational Group (www.carrolleducationalgroup.com) and IEP Experts (www.iepexperts.com). Additionally, he is on the clinical staff at The Child, Adolescent and Family Development Center. He is serving as the PR and Marketing Chair on the Board of Directors for the ACO (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Coaches’ Organization). Jonathan Carroll’s other professional memberships include CEC (Council for Exceptional Children), CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), LDA (Learning Disabilities Association), COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates) and IPA (Illinois Psychological Association).
Jonathan Carroll is located in the Chicagoland area with two offices in Northfield and Downtown Chicago. He works with clients both locally and remotely as needed. Many clients enjoy the convenience of working with Jonathan Carroll over such virtual services as Skype and Face Time. The Northfield office serves communities on the North Shore and Northern Suburbs of Chicago including Northbrook, Glenview, Highland Park, Glencoe, Kenilworth, Wilmette, Winnetka, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Skokie, Evanston, Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Lincolnshire, Bannockburn, Riverwoods, Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Mount Prospect, Park Ridge, Niles and Morton Grove. Jonathan Carroll lives with his family in Northbrook, Illinois. In addition to the importance of spending quality time with his family, his interests include reading, writing, technology and sports.
